Hello! I’m Maggie Dotel, The Baking Bookworm.
A passionate home baker, food blogger, and book enthusiast who believes that both sweet treats and stories have the power to bring people together and create lasting memories. Baking Bookworm is a blending of my favorite things: baking, books, and building relationships.
My goal has always been to share my baking with friends and family, through baked goods themselves and by teaching my techniques.
The idea of cookie classes based on books comes from my degree and background in education, the baking company, MagPies, that I created in my college apartment, and my lifelong love of stories and reading. The dream grew as I built a life with my husband and our three kids, waiting for the right time! Post-pandemic, I am more eager than ever to find exciting ways to bring people together and share my love of books and baking! Come along with me as I share story-inspired recipes and specially designed cookie classes that pair with a monthly novel.
